With four other European SMEs, Eaux & Industrie responded in 2008, to the call for proposals launched by the European Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation (the Executive Agency for Competitiveness and Innovation EACI).
Within the CIP Eco-Innovation, our project market replication of Bamboo Remediation of food IndusTry Effluent gRey WATER (BRITER WATER) was retained in 2009.
Underway since 1 September 2009 for the duration of three years and at a global program cost of 1200k €, 60% has been co-financed by the European Union within the Eco-innovation initiative of the Competitiveness and Innovation framework Programme (CIP).

Eurexcel - United Kingdom:
The European Association of Innovating SMEs is an association that aims to assist SMEs to break through the markets and to benefit from innovation and financing projects through the European Union. Eurexcel will be the coordinator for this project.
Phytorem - France
Company specializing in the treatment of effluents with bamboo.
Phytorem will be responsible for the implementation of the pilot plant: a bi-filter scheme at Delifruits planted with 2000m ² of bamboo. It will also deal with the operation, monitoring and analytical testing of dairy effluent treatment on small pilot schemes on Reunion Island.
Cobelgal - Portugal
Company specializing in the treatment of industrial and domestic effluents by plants.
Cobelgal will act as an expert for the design and operation of pilot schemes. Cobelgal will be specifically in charge of the development of 'bamboo value chains' (composting, energy, timber).
Whiteblue Consulting - Allemagne
Group consultancy: experts in consulting with industry. WhiteBlue Consulting will be responsible for analyzing the life cycle of the project.
Délifruits - Margès-France
The plant at Délifruits has the available land, the time and resources for this project.
Eau & Industrie - France -
Eau 1 Industrie will take part in the works for life cycle of the project. On the project sidelines, we will accompany Délifruits in the task to bring the water to be treated to the pilot scheme. Eaux & Industrie are also responsible for validating the results of the industrial installation.
